A North Carolina pre-kindergarten teacher, and her husband, are facing fraud charges for their roles in what is believed to be a staged car crash.
Yashika Ann Robinson, 39, and Wauddell Joseph Robinson, 41, were each charged on April 11th with insurance fraud and felony conspiracy.
According to WRAL.comand investigators with the state Department of Insurance, the couple faked a crash so they could file claims for property damage and bodily injury with Repwest Insurance. They were also allegedly working with several other people as part of the scam. So far the dollar value of the allegedly fraudulent claims hasn’t been made available.
